On Wednesday i donated blood i was scared but it wasn't too bad. The needle is the size of a ball pump.
First we had to fill out a form, it was very long. We then got our finger pricked and the blood tested to test our iron levels in our blood. We then sat in the chair where they put the needle in to your arm.
Everyone did well except for Ben because his blood stopped flowing.
Everyone said that the needle wiggled and it hurt but I don't know if they were exaggerating or if it was only my needle that didn't wiggle. But it did hurt a bit. Afterwards we got muffins.
I dropped mine.

Oh my gosh I remember Mrs Quirk running up to me asking me to donate blood and the thought of it made me feel sick! did it feel weird giving blood? did it make you feel dizzy?
ReplyDeleteYou only feel a bit dizzy if you stand up too fast and you feel a little week the next day but that's all.
